Prior to joining the bench, Mason worked in private practice in Springfield for over two decades. He has served on a number of Superior Court committees since his appointment, including as chair of the Civil Committee and as a member of the Justice's Committee on the Code of Judicial Conduct and the Committee on Litigation Options. He also served as chair of the Trial Court’s Standing Committee on Dispute Resolution. Judge Mason currently serves as chair of the Trial Court’s Public Outreach Committee. A past president of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA), he has remained active with the organization, serving as master of ceremonies for the Judicial Youth Corps Program's Appreciation Day Ceremony in 2021 and as a frequent judge for the Mock Trial State Championship.

A partner at Krasnoo, Klehm & Falkner in Andover, Klehm has more than 25 years of civil litigation experience. He currently serves on the MBA's House of Delegates and Access to Justice Section Council. He was previously a member of the Civil Litigation Section Council, serving as chair from 2019-2021, and has also served on the MBA's Amicus Curiae Committee and the Committee on Civility and Professionalism. An active volunteer for the MBA and the MBF, he has participated as a judge for the Mock Trial Program, taken calls with Dial-A-Lawyer, and reviewed many applications for the MBF's IOLTA Grant Review. Klehm is a past president of the Lawrence Bar Association and recipient of the MBF's 2020 President's Award.

”We are so delighted to have these two accomplished individuals joining our board,” notes MBF President Richard Grahn. “There is no doubt they will each make a tremendous contribution toward our mission of expanding access to justice in our state.”
