The Massachusetts Bar Association is committed to keeping its members informed about how the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic is impacting the courts, their practices and the Massachusetts legal community. 

The MBA is working closely with the courts and other community leaders, and monitors and shares court announcements on our COVID-19 News and Information page.

Trial Court

Probate and Family Court

  • Probate and Family Court Repeals Probate and Family Court Standing Order 1-2022: Court Operations Under the Exigent Circumstances Created by the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Probate and Family Court will revert to Standing Order 1-2021 for its operating procedures and the protocols for Standing Order 1-2021 will also be in effect.
