The Massachusetts Bar Foundation hosted an encore Grantee Reception on Nov. 2. More than 50 MBF grantees and MBF Fellows enjoyed a spectacular sunset from the 26th floor windows of Bulkley, Richardson & Gelinas in Springfield, where guests gathered to celebrate this year's grant recipients.
Through its IOLTA Grants Program, the MBF awarded over $570,000 to organizations in Western Mass. for programs that either provide civil legal services to low-income clients or improve the administration of justice in the commonwealth. The 2006 MBF Legal Intern Fellows were also honored at this event.
Following remarks by MBF President Francis Ford, MBA President Mark D Mason thanked grantees for their "extraordinary dedication to the administration of justice, the rule of law and the delivery of legal services to those most in need."
