Mock Trial

In preparation for the 19th Annual Statewide Mock Trial Program, the MBA invites you to volunteer as an attorney coach or judge.

Open to all public and private high school students in Massachusetts, the Mock Trial Program is a rich curriculum that promotes the development of fundamental knowledge, sound judgment and critical thinking skills. Students are placed in a simulated courtroom situation where they assume the roles of lawyers and witnesses in a hypothetical case.

On the first Wednesday of every month, attorneys volunteer at the MBA Boston headquarters by providing free basic legal information by telephone to callers between the hours of 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Questions cover a wide range of legal topics.

On Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, the MBA invites attorneys from the four western counties to participate in the semi-annual Dial-a-Lawyer program being held in Springfield. The program in co-sponsored by Western New England College School of Law and The Republican. The program is seeking attorneys to volunteer for a two-hour shift between 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
