Join members of the Massachusetts Bar Association Energy Law Practice Group on Wednesday, Feb. 5, from 5-7 p.m., for a presentation on energy siting and permitting reforms resulting from the 2024 climate law aimed at promoting a clean energy grid, advancing equity, and protecting ratepayers in Massachusetts. Zach Gerson, partner at Foley Hoag LLP, will present on the practical implications of the recently enacted law, including how the law will reshape siting and permitting for clean energy projects, what developers need to know to navigate new processes and monitor key rulemakings, and timelines for new and revised energy procurement authorities.
A Q&A and networking reception will follow. Energy law practitioners, non-attorney energy and environmental professionals, and law students are encouraged to attend.
