Assistant General Counsel for Information Technology

The EOHHS General Counsel’s Office is seeking to hire an attorney to provide legal support for MassHealth and other agencies and programs within the EOHHS Secretariat. The attorney will perform a wide range of complex legal activities, primarily relating to activities involving information technology procurements and related legal support.

The attorney will perform a wide range of complex legal activities associated with the development, implementation and administration of EOHHS information technology initiatives involving both MassHealth and EOHHS constituent agencies.

Assistant General Counsel for Privacy and Security

The EOHHS General Counsel’s Office is seeking to hire an attorney to provide legal support for MassHealth and other EOHHS programs. 

The attorney will perform a wide range of complex legal activities, primarily relating to data sharing, data protection and compliance with applicable state and federal data confidentiality and security laws and regulations, including but not limited to the HPAA Privacy and Security Rules; 42 CFR Part 431, Subpart F, M.G.L. c.66A, and M.G.L. c.93H, and industry standards including but not limited to the NIST cybersecurity framework.

Committee for Public Counsel Services

Director of Strategic Litigation at Committee for Public Counsel Services

The Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS), the Massachusetts public defender agency, is seeking a director of its newly created Strategic Litigation Unit. 

The strategic litigation director will play an essential leadership role in the agency’s pursuit of systemic and institutional reform, and will be responsible for leading CPCS litigation efforts in areas affecting a broad class of CPCS clients (e.g. challenges to statutes such as those involving privileged records, preventive detention, and the sex offender registry).
