Issue October 2010

On July 15, the Massachusetts Bar Association's Executive Management Board voted to accept the Juvenile Bar Association as the 28th MBA affiliated bar. The designation gives the association a seat on the MBA House of Delegates, which manages all public policy and advocacy issues of the MBA.

In accordance with MBA policy regarding the admission of bar associations, the EMB reviewed the Juvenile Bar Association's purpose, activities and membership and determined that the JBA by its representation in the House of Delegates shall enhance the fulfillment of the purposes of the MBA and assist in the furtherance of its policies and activities.
