Products and lessons that include videoconferencing and creating PDF portfolios will be among the offerings at the Sept. 23 Legal Technology Expo at the Boston Sheraton Hotel. The free trade show, sponsored by the Massachusetts Bar Association and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The next expo will take place at the Framingham Sheraton Hotel on March 20.
The expo will provide attorneys with the tools needed to run an efficient, organized practice, as well as balance the demands of practitioners’ professional and personal lives.
"I believe that the wave — in regards to technology and the practice of law — is cresting as we speak. In order to ride the wave, I encourage all attorneys to attend the expo and learn, not just from the program presenters, but from vendors firsthand as to how lawyers can use technology to better serve their clients, as well as themselves," said Alan J. Klevan, co-chair of the Law Practice Management Section and managing partner at Klevan & Klevan LLP in Wellesley.
The expo will feature dozens of vendors and four 45-minute technology breakout sessions.
"The MBA is proud to partner with the commonwealth’s leading legal newspaper to offer these expos, one more way the MBA supports its attorneys statewide, offering the tools and resources necessary to manage their practices as effectively and efficiently as possible," MBA Executive Director Marilyn J. Wellington said.
