Mary Ellen Welch Rogers has joined Goulston & Storrs as a member in the Asset Backed Lending Practice within its Commercial Group. Rogers was previously a member in the Banking, Lending and Finance and Technology Groups at Ruberto, Israel & Weiner, P.C. in Boston.
For more than 10 years, Rogers has represented secured and unsecured creditors in negotiation and preparation of out-of-court workouts and restructurings, and in reorganization and liquidation cases. Her practice encompasses complex asset based loan documentation, loan workouts and debtor in possession financing. She has represented lender interests in national and regional bankruptcy cases with a particular focus on retail, including such companies as The Weathervane, Leejay Bed and Bath, Lauriat's, Filene's Basement, Crown Books, Gantos, Hit or Miss and Lids.
Prior to joining Ruberto, Israel & Weiner, Rogers practiced in the Bankruptcy Department at Verrill & Dana in Portland, Maine.
