Mock Trial Central is looking for attorney coaches in the 2022 Massachusetts Bar Association Virtual Mock Trial Competition.

Using a hypothetical criminal case developed by the MBA's Mock Trial Committee, high school students have already started preparing for their three preliminary round trials.

The following schools are still in need of an attorney coach:

      • Arlington Catholic High School
      • Arlington High School
      • Holbrook Middle High School
      • Lee Middle and High School
      • Newton North High School
      • Pittsfield High School
      • Revere High School
      • Rockland Senior High School
      • South Hadley High School
      • South High Community School, Worcester
      • St. John’s High School, Shrewsbury
      • Wellesley Sr. High School

If you would like to volunteer as an attorney coach for any of the above listed schools, we will contact the school and provide them with your information. The time commitment is based on both your schedule and the teacher's. The trials begin at the end of January and run through the end of March, depending on the success of the individual teams. Schools may need your assistance at any time between now and the end of the season to help prepare for upcoming trials. Please note that this year’s competition will be held virtually via Zoom.

If you are unable to volunteer as an attorney coach for Mock Trial, we are also recruiting attorneys to act as judges during the tournament.

If you are interested in participating as an attorney coach or a judge, please contact Mock Trial Central at (617) 338-0570 or mocktrial@massbar.org.
