"Hamilton" is coming to Boston! And the Massachusetts Bar Association has a special opportunity for you to see the show.
We are offering our members a way to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime event while helping a great cause for people in real need of legal assistance.
The MBA -- together with the Massachusetts Bar Foundation and the Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys -- is holding a fundraiser to help the Puerto Rican victims of last fall's Hurricane Maria. "Hamilton's" creator and original star, Lin-Manuel Miranda, arranged for us to buy 100 orchestra tickets for the Friday, Oct. 12 performance of the Broadway smash hit at the Boston Opera House.
The program for this special event includes a pre-show cocktail reception inside the Opera House with a personalized video welcome to our group from Lin-Manuel himself. His father, Luis Miranda, will talk to our group and engage in a Q&A session during the pre-show private function. Lin-Manuel has authorized the playing of a video recording of a duet he did with the star of "Dear Evan Hansen." It will be an excellent event for a great cause and a night that will long be remembered by all.
Purchase orchestra tickets for the Oct. 12 performance of the Tony Award-winning "Hamilton" now. Tickets are $1,500 each and are available on a first come, first served basis, with a limit of two tickets per person. This is a charitable event. All net proceeds will be donated to hurricane victims.
