March 11-12 event to feature Gala Dinner, Annual Access
to Justice Awards Luncheon and CLE
"Achieving a Competitive Advantage in Changing Times" is the
theme of the Massachusetts Bar Association's spring Annual
Conference. MBA AC10 will take place on Thursday, March 11 and
Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Westin Copley Place in Boston.
The conference will include continuing legal education
programming, the MBA Gala Dinner, the Annual Access to Justice
Awards Luncheon, ample networking and exposure to vendors offering
the latest in law practice management technology and tools.
"The MBA proudly brings the conference's many components back to
one spring event," said MBA President Valerie A. Yarashus, who
explained that for the last two years, the conference's various
components had been held independently throughout the association
year (September-August).
"Especially given today's market, we are pleased to deliver on
our members' needs to keep current and competitive," she added.
The conference's CLE will include two continuous tracks on law
practice management and recent developments. In addition to a
"Social Media Tips" plenary session, other featured LPM topics
include "60 Sites in 60 Minutes" and "Improving Law Office
Efficiency." Recent development programs will include those in
bankruptcy, criminal, employment, family, personal
injury/insurance, probate and real estate law.
