Community Services Coordinator Seth Boyd is pleased to be here and to help you help the public.
In November 2004, I joined the staff of the Massachusetts Bar Association as the coordinator of Community Services. Prior to coming to the MBA, I worked in a variety of community service settings, including workforce development, career counseling and youth services.

Since joining the MBA, I have greatly enjoyed working with MBA members on a variety of programs, including Job Shadow Day, held this past Feb. 2; the 2005 Mock Trial Program; and the Elder Law Education Program, to be held this May at senior centers and councils on aging throughout the state in celebration of Law Day.

Many attorneys have volunteered to speak to community groups and work with local high school and middle school students, while others have offered their legal expertise to assist in updating written program materials and client-service brochures. In addition to continuing to grow the programs mentioned above, the coming months will allow me to focus on revitalizing the MBA's Speakers' Bureau program, which matches attorneys to speaking engagements for a variety of community organizations.

Also, we recently updated our "Get Involved!" brochure, which details the many ways MBA members can volunteer their time.
