Darshana Indira headshot (1)Laredo, Smith & Kane Senior Associate Darshana Indira, a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Business Law Section Council, spoke on the Boston Bar Association’s Dec. 11 panel, Effective Cross-Cultural Mentoring Relationships. The panel covered the importance of building strong relationships with mentors for new lawyers and the challenges many face when senior colleagues may not share their cultural backgrounds or beliefs.

As an accomplished employment and business lawyer, Indira advises company owners, organizational leaders and C-suite executives across a broad spectrum of employment and commercial litigation matters. With a deep understanding of various industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotech, health care and retail, her expertise spans both transactional and litigation work.

Announcements accepted for consideration include individual professional accomplishments (new jobs, promotions, recent accomplishments or awards*, etc.) and personal news (weddings, engagements, birth announcements, and other notable outside-of-work accomplishments). 

*Awards should not include mentions in Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, AV ratings and other list-type awards due to the large number of attorneys who receive them.
