On Wednesday, April 4, both the House and Senate passed a wide-sweeping criminal justice reform package with little opposition.
Provisions in the bill include:
- A reduction in the waiting periods to seal certain records
- Allowing a sealing of resisting arrest convictions
- An increase in the felony larceny threshold
- Reform of bail conditions and determination
