Bar Seen: MBA gets spooky for Halloween

Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016

If you follow the Massachusetts Bar Association on social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) you may have seen photos of some haunted happenings at the MBA. Have no fear - the scary scenes were courtesy of MBA President Jeffrey Catalano, who shared his fondness for Halloween by decorating the President's Office for the holiday. Floating ghosts, changing pictures and a visit from "Oliver Wendell Bones Jr.," were just some of the spooky props that paid a visit to 20 West Street.

The President's Office at the MBA's Boston office underwent a transformation for Halloween, and saw the "return" of Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., MBA founder and past president.

MBA officers had some fun at the October Executive Management Board meeting, where they posed for a photo with the "Zombie Bar Association." The photo was captioned on social media as "MassBar meets with the head of the Zombie Bar Association (ZBA) re grave concerns stemming from dying jury trials." (Pictured MBA Vice President John J. Morrissey, President-elect Christopher P. Sullivan, President Jeffrey N. Catalano, and Secretary Denise I. Murphy.)
