What is Animal Law? And how do I practice it?  Animal law is fairly new field with a growing  number of cases and statutes, and increasing public and practical interest.  Join us on September 15th to learn about animal law and how it could apply to your practice. Animal law encompasses civil and criminal law  matters.  Some animal law topics include: animal   cruelty, pet trusts, custody disputes, dangerous dog hearings, the recent Supreme Court opinion on  cruelty depictions, landlord/tenant issues and more...

Presented by the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Animal Law Practice Group (ALPG).
The ALPG presents continuing education forums on animal law issues, creates networking opportunities for attorneys and students, drafts publications on specific animal law  issues, holds routine meetings, lectures and brownbag lunches on animal law matters.
