The Massachusetts Bar Association is pleased to announce its leadership slate for the 2014-15 association year. Massachusetts Bar Association President Marsha V. Kazarosian and her fellow officers begin their terms on Sept. 1.

During her presidency, Kazarosian plans to focus on educating attorneys and the public about the importance of the rule of law, the need to maintain an independent judiciary, the invaluable role of lawyers in protecting and ensuring a democratic society, and the MBA's ongoing commitment to the promotion of excellence in the practice of law through continuing legal education, which, effective Sept. 1, 2014, the MBA offers free of charge to members. She also plans to facilitate the evolution of attorney-conducted voir dire, which permits attorneys to question prospective jurors in the Trial Court.

Alongside Kazarosian, the other 2014-15 MBA officers include President-elect Robert W. Harnais, Vice President Christopher A. Kenney, Vice President John J. Morrissey, Treasurer Jeffrey N. Catalano and Secretary Christopher P. Sullivan.
