The Massachusetts Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division is looking for law student leaders with passion and perspective to serve on our Law Student Section Council, and help us build a vibrant and inclusive community to engage and serve our law student members.

Interested in learning more? Join MBA YLD leaders for an information session on Wednesday, Aug. 24, at the MBA, 20 West St., Boston. The informational session will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a meet and greet with board leaders. Click here to RSVP.

If you would like to be a part of the new Law Student Section Council, members will be required to attend monthly meetings, collaborate with the MBA's YLD, and serve as MBA ambassadors at their law schools and MBA YLD events throughout the year. As a founder and voice of the Law Student Section, you will have the opportunity to provide meaningful input regarding volunteer projects, continuing legal education seminars and community events, while at the same time:

  • Building leadership skills
  • Advancing your career
  • Building your reputation in the legal community
  • Networking with fellow law students, experienced attorneys, judges and other legal professionals
