Pro Bono Opportunities

Looking for a pro bono opportunity that fits your schedule? The Massachusetts Bar Association urges members to expand their pro bono efforts to help those who need legal services the most.

MassProBono.org
MassProBono.org is a website that allows lawyers to focus their energy on doing pro bono work rather than looking for it. The site was launched by the Volunteer Lawyers Project, in partnership with Pro Bono Net, the Massachusetts Legal Aid Websites Project and the MBA. The centerpiece of the site is a Pro Bono Opportunities Guide, developed in partnership with the MBA, which has built an extensive statewide listing of pro bono opportunities. MassProBono.org builds on the MBA's pro bono catalogue and incorporates the interactive functions of the Pro Bono Net platform to create a robust new tool to promote pro bono engagement.

Mass Legal Answers Online
Mass Legal Answers Online is a legal advice website that is part of the American Bar Association's Free Legal Answers project. Low-income Massachusetts residents post their legal questions to the website and volunteer attorneys answer them directly through the site. Massachusetts Law Reform Institute, with assistance from the Volunteer Lawyers Project, manages Mass Legal Answers Online. The Massachusetts Bar Foundation, the Boston Bar Foundation and the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation fund MLAO.
