Participate in the Elder Law Education Program

The Massachusetts Bar Association celebrates Law Day by organizing free educational presentations about elder law throughout the commonwealth during the month of May. The Elder Law Education Program is made possible due to the participation and support of members from various MBA section councils, and the generous assistance and continued collaboration of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

The MBA's 2022 Elder Law Education Program will be held virtually from May 1-31. If you would like to volunteer to speak (in-person or virtually) to a senior center or council on aging, and provide legal information tailored toward older adults' needs, please contact the MBA's Public & Community Services Department at (617) 338-0695, or via email. If you are matched, you will coordinate with the senior service agency to schedule a presentation via Zoom (or another mutually agreed upon virtual platform) at a suitable time.

The 2022 Elder Law Education Guide is the Massachusetts Bar Association’s resource guide on a wide range of legal issues affecting the lives of older adults. The guide, prepared by attorneys, is made possible due to the participation, generous assistance and continued collaboration of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
