Legislative Advocacy
The Massachusetts Bar Association works tirelessly with its members to develop policy positions that improve the administration of justice in the commonwealth. The association speaks with a unified voice to best represent the interests of the legal community before the Legislature and the courts. This is accomplished through close collaboration with MBA leaders, practice sections and the MBA House of Delegates. Activities are performed by crafting positions on legislation, court rules and other policy issues, informing and educating policy makers and court leaders on the issues that most profoundly impact the legal community and by closely monitoring all issues of concern to practitioners and their clients.
