Join us in an engaging discussion with seasoned and diverse (employee-side, employer-side outside and in-house counsel) employment law practitioners about how they evaluate reasonable accommodation requests and advise their clients to comply with or assert rights under the law. In this workshop-format session based on realistic scenarios, panelists will share their perspectives and practical tips on the following topics:

  • Remote work as a reasonable accommodation — When is it reasonable?
  • Extended leave of absence as a reasonable accommodation — Is there an end?
  • Employee’s performance issues and accommodation needs — Are they related?

This is an advanced-level session and will be most beneficial for participants who have basic working knowledge of the laws around reasonable accommodations and interactive dialogue.

This webinar will be hosted using Zoom. Registration is required by 4 p.m. on Monday, April 14, in order to participate in this program. An email from MassBar Education will be sent before the program.
