Are you mindful or is your mind full? How do you tell the
difference?
Practicing mindfulness can offer a myriad of benefits for your personal
well-being as well as your professional performance, from managing stress and
anxiety, and increasing concentration and self-compassion, to improving your
overall health and well-being.
Interested in learning more about mindfulness? Then join us for March
Mindfulness, a month-long series of virtual programs presented by the
Massachusetts Bar Association Lawyer Well-Being Committee, in conjunction with
Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL), that will look at a variety of mindful
practices and different opportunities to practice mindfulness in our lives.
Dr. Tracey Meyers will kick off our March Mindfulness program by providing a
mindfulness of breathing practice. Mindfulness of breathing is a simple yet
powerful meditation practice that involves focusing attention on the breath,
promoting relaxation and awareness of the present moment. It can help reduce
stress, enhance concentration, and improve emotional well-being by creating a
sense of calm and clarity.
This program is free for all members of the legal community.
As a bonus, March Mindfulness participants who register and attend every
Monday and Thursday session prior to the closing session will be included in a
raffle where five winners will receive a gift card!
This webinar will be hosted using Zoom, please select 'Watch Livestream' to register. Registration is required by
noon on Monday, March 3, to participate in this program. An email from
MassBar Education will be sent before the
program.
