
Four judges to participate in panel discussion for Hispanic Heritage Month
On Thursday, Oct. 5, the DEI Committee of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the Federal Bar Association will host a conversation with four pioneering Hispanic judges in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The four participating judges are:
- Hon. Gustavo A. Gelpí, U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit
- Hon. Margaret R. Guzman, U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts
- Hon. Roberto Ronquillo Jr., chief justice of the Boston Municipal Court, Massachusetts Trial Court
- Hon. Dalila Argaez Wendlandt, Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court
The event will take place in the Jury Assembly Room on the second floor of the John Joseph Moakley U.S. Courthouse, One Courthouse Way, Boston. The panel discussion will begin at 3:30 p.m., with a reception to follow at 4:30.

USDC approves amendments to Local Rules
The U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts has approved previously issued proposed amendments to Local Rules 40.1 (Assignment of Cases) and 67.3 (Disbursement of Registry Funds).
The amendments will be effective on Oct. 2 and can be viewed
here.
