  • "Healey makes first judicial nominations as governor, tapping commercial litigator and defense attorney," The Boston Globe (Oct. 5). MBA Chief Legal Counsel and Chief Operating Officer Martin W. Healy was quoted in an article about Gov. Maura Healey's first two nominations to the state judiciary: MBA member Adam L. Sisitsky and attorney Tracy E. Duncan, who will both serve on the Superior Court if confirmed by the Governor's Council. The article also quoted MBA member James R. Goodhines.

Greenman commented on an Appeals Court decision that after a landlord commenced summary process proceedings, her tender of money damages to remedy a violation of the state's water use statute did not moot the tenant's claim to possession.

MBA Complex Commercial Litigation Section Council member Andrea Kramer and MBA member Carmen L. Durso discussed a Supreme Judicial Court decision that the Superior Court could not compel a Massachusetts rape crisis center to comply with a Rhode Island court order for the counseling records of an alleged victim of sexual assault without following the so-called Lampron-Dwyer protocol.
