guardianship RFR
The Department of Mental Health (DMH) has issued a request for response (RFR) to create a Master Service List of professionals who will accept appointments to serve as guardians or conservators in cases in which DMH has petitioned on behalf of DMH clients.
Guardians will be paid for fiduciary services provided in addition to medication monitoring (Rogers) services paid by the Probate Court. The RFR can be found on the Massachusetts procurement website, CommBuys, available here.

Research attorney positions with the
Probate and Family Court
The Massachusetts Trial Court is seeking to fill multiple research attorney positions within the Administrative Office of the Probate and Family Court.
The position involves analyzing and researching legal issues and questions for the justices of the Probate and Family Court and the Administrative Office, preparing legal memoranda, and drafting judicial decisions and other documents. An employee is hired at the research attorney I level and is eligible for reclassification to the research attorney II level upon meeting the requirements of that level.
Candidates must have at least two years of post-law-school, professional legal work experience. A prior post-graduate judicial clerkship, particularly in the Probate and Family Court Department, is preferred.
