Attend a Sept. 29 investiture ceremony for U.S. Magistrate Judge Levenson
Members of the legal community are invited to attend an investiture ceremony for U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul G. Levenson on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 3 p.m., at the John J. Moakley Courthouse, 1 Courthouse Way, Boston.
A reception will follow the ceremony, and virtual access will be provided for all who wish to attend remotely via Zoom.

U.S. Bankruptcy Court to hold Pro Bono Awards Ceremony, Oct. 12
On Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 4:30 p.m., the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts will hold the Ninth Annual Pro Bono and Public Service Awards Ceremony. The event will be held by video, with an invitation sent to all ECF users at a later date.
The event will acknowledge attorneys and law students who are eligible for the Pro Bono and Public Service Honor Roll for providing pro bono services or participating in certain public service programs during the period of Sept. 1, 2020, to Sept. 1, 2022. To be acknowledged, attorneys must certify that they have met the
specific criteria established by the court’s Pro Bono Legal Services Advisory Committee. Law students who have met the criteria may
submit a certification, along with the acknowledgement of the attorney supervisor. Participation is entirely voluntary.
Certifications should be sent to
probono@mab.uscourts.gov by Sept. 30 for an individual to be recognized at the event. Those individuals who complete a certification will also receive a certificate of appreciation and will be listed on the Pro Bono and Public Service Honor Roll on the Bankruptcy Court’s website.
