MBA Vice President Victoria Santoro Mair discussed a Superior Court judge's decision that her client did not have to arbitrate his claims against Uber after he was rendered a quadriplegic while using the service in 2021. Burke commented on a First U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision granting qualified immunity to an FBI agent and a Boston police officer in the 2015 shooting death of a terrorist suspect.
