The Massachusetts Bar Association invites all MBA members to take part in Well-Being Week in Law (WWIL) from May 2-6, 2022.
WWIL is an event created by the Institute for Well-Being in Law (IWIL) and sponsored by the American Bar Association Commission on Lawyer Assistance Program’s Well-Being Committee.
To participate in WWIL in Massachusetts ...
- Look for daily MBA emails with suggested well-being activities.
- Attend the May 3 opening session with keynote speaker Eilene Zimmerman, journalist, social worker, and author of: "Smacked: A Story of White-Collar Ambition, Addiction, and Tragedy,” and The New York Times article: “The Lawyer, the Addict.”
- Take part in virtual Community Well-Being Coffee Breaks on Monday and Wednesday.
- Attend the May 6 closing session with remarks by Michael Curry, CEO of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, on the Intersection of Mental Health and the BIPOC Community.
