Robinson+Cole has announced the addition of Massachusetts Bar Association member Matthew M. Burke as a Boston-based partner in the firm’s Insurance + Reinsurance Group.
Burke has more than 30 years of experience representing insurers in claims and litigation. His practice encompasses all forms of insurance and commercial insurance policies, including first-party property, professional liability, representations and warranties, tax, third-party liability, and reinsurance. Burke has handled multiple arbitrations and litigated matters in state and federal court across the country. During his career, Burke has worked on insurance coverage cases involving a number of high-profile natural and man-made catastrophes, including Hurricane Katrina, Superstorm Sandy, the West Virginia mine explosions, and various insurance claims related to the 9/11 terrorist attack.
