In honor of Veterans Day, we’re sharing helpful information for service members, veterans and their families who may experience different mental health issues than the general public and be at risk for mental health problems. Check out the page titled, “Help for Service Members and Their Families,” on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services website for resources on counseling, post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries, and more.
Find additional wellness resources on the MBA's Health & Well-Being page, which was launched in April 2020 to support member wellness during COVID-19. It features helpful resources for coping with stress, anxiety, panic, substance use disorder and more during the pandemic, with links provided by the ABA Commission on Lawyers Assistance Program, as well as the MBA’s own Lawyer Well-Being Committee.
