The Massachusetts Bar Association will host a free, virtual Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 25, at 5:30 p.m. Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Chief Justice Kimberly S. Budd will deliver the keynote. The virtual MBA Annual Meeting will be held in lieu of the traditional in-person MBA Annual Dinner due to the ongoing health and safety precautions related to COVID-19.
The Annual Meeting will include the presentation of the Access to Justice COVID-19 Award to Nancy Baratta and Ann Balmelli O’Connor; the Access to Justice Race, Equity and Inclusion Award to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s Standing Committee on Lawyer Well-Being; the MBA Legislator of the Year Award to Congresswoman Katherine Clark; the MBA’s Gold Medal Award to Marsha V. Kazarosian; and the MBA President's Award to Thomas J. Carey Jr. The MBA will also posthumously honor Chief Justice Ralph D. Gants with its Chief Justice Edward F. Hennessey Award.
