BarachMBA member Matthew P. Barach, founding attorney and principal of family law firm Barach Law Group LLC, contributed a chapter to Westlaw’s "Handling Child Custody, Abuse, and Adoption Cases." The book covers how to best handle child custody, abuse and adoption cases and combines coverage of the law with proven trial strategies and hands-on practice tools. Barach’s chapter, “Appeals and Writs,” discusses the appellate process and writs in family law cases.

Barach is an esteemed family law trial and appellate attorney and the author of “The Family Law Guide to Appellate Practice.” With more than 20 years of family law experience, Barach regularly appears before family law courts in Middlesex, Norfolk, Worcester, Suffolk and Essex counties. He also appears before the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Supreme Judicial Court and the First Circuit of Appeals.

Ayr, who joined the firm in 2017, practices in the firm’s Business & Corporate, Emerging Growth, and Mergers & Acquisitions groups. *Awards should not include mentions in Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, AV ratings and other list-type awards due to the large number of attorneys who receive them.
