Each week, eJournal highlights a wellness resource to bring attention to the helpful organizations, articles and websites that are available for members or anyone who may need assistance.

This week, we're sharing a helpful article from the American Heart Association, “Creative ways to exercise during the pandemic,” which offers recommendations for exercising safely, both indoors and outside. Not only does staying active help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, weight gain and Type II diabetes, exercise can also have benefits for one’s mental health and serve as a “stress buster,” the article says.

Find additional wellness resources on the MBA's Health & Well-Being page, which was launched in April to support member wellness during COVID-19. It features helpful resources for coping with stress, anxiety, panic, substance use disorder and more during the pandemic, with links provided by the ABA Commission on Lawyers Assistance Program, as well as the MBA’s own Attorney Well-Being Committee.
