U.S. Court of Appeals for First Circuit adopts rules amendments

newsfromcourtsThe United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit has adopted amendments to the following local rules and internal operating procedures:
 

  • Local Rule 11.0 
  • Local Rules 12.0 and 39.0(b), and Internal Operating Procedures III(B), VI and VIII(A) 
  • Local Rules 25.0(e) and 46.6
  • Local Rule 46.0(a)(1) and Internal Operating Procedure II(A)

The court previously provided notice of the proposed amendments, and no comments were received. 

The amendments took effect on Jan. 13, 2020.
