Each May, the Massachusetts Bar Association celebrates Law Day by organizing free educational presentations about elder law with senior centers and councils on aging throughout the commonwealth. Volunteer with us and give a presentation on legal issues affecting the lives of seniors.
The 11th Edition of the Elder Law Education Guide will be available in April 2020 and will be distributed to all participating agencies. The guide contains information on a wide range of legal issues affecting the lives of seniors. Participating agencies will select presentations based on the topics included in the 2020 guide.
The 2020 ELEP will be held from May 1 – 31. If you would like to volunteer to give a presentation this May, please complete this form by Friday, March 6. Please make sure to indicate your preferred choice of senior center or geographic location. If you are matched, you will be put in contact with the senior center to discuss the presentation topic and to arrange a mutually convenient program date within the month of May.
Note: Matches to senior centers and councils on aging are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Staff will be coordinating this effort immediately after the March 6 deadline.
