Each week, eJournal highlights a wellness resource to bring attention to the helpful organizations, articles and websites that are available for members or anyone who may need assistance.
This week, sign up for the new Massachusetts Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) series on Mindfulness & Self-Compassion Tools for Legal Professionals. This series will explore mindfulness tools that enhance quality of life and well-being through use of self-compassion practices. This series can be attended by new participants, as well as anyone who participated in LCL's November mindfulness series. The four-part series meets online on Thursdays in January, from noon to 1 p.m. Sessions will be recorded and links will be sent out weekly following the recorded class.
Find additional wellness resources on the MBA's Health & Well-Being page, which was launched in April to support member wellness during COVID-19. It features helpful resources for coping with stress, anxiety, panic, substance use disorder and more during the pandemic, with links provided by the ABA Commission on Lawyers Assistance Program, as well as the MBA’s own Attorney Well-Being Committee.
