Housing Court to expand eFiling to all civil cases

newsfromcourtsThe Housing Court Department has announced that it has expanded eFiling to all civil cases on a permissive basis for attorneys and self-represented litigants. All filings of civil case types may be done by eFiling, though they will still be accepted in person and via mail.

“The expansion of electronic filing to include all civil cases is part of a continuous effort by the Trial Court to expand our electronic, eFiling and remote capabilities across all departments. This is both part of our mission to facilitate more efficient document filing and also to expand virtual operations and reduce courthouse visits to ensure the health and safety of the public and our staff during the pandemic,” said Trial Court Chief Justice Paula M. Carey and Trial Court Administrator Jonathan S. Williams.

Information and materials for attorneys and pro se litigants can be found on the Housing Court eFiling page.
