The Massachusetts Bar Association's Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) is celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2019. Since its establishment in 1974, the program has answered the legal needs of more than 750,000 Massachusetts residents by referring their cases to attorneys in suitable practice areas and geographic locations.
If you are a member of the LRS, don’t forget to renew your membership by Monday, April 1, to avoid any interruption in referrals. As an LRS member, you have the ability to pay your dues by mail or renew online.
If you would like to join the LRS, now is a great time since your membership will be good until March 31, 2020. To join, click here for the new member application and here for the 2019 LRS handbook.
By renewing and/or joining the LRS, you can also be listed in our automatic referral program where the public is able to receive an instant referral to an attorney — 24 hours a day, seven days a week — through the MBA’s LRS website.
If you have any questions, you can contact the LRS at lrs@massbar.org, or call (617) 338-0556.
