Verrill Dana has announced the addition of MBA member Katherine (Kate) Galloway to the firm’s Boston office. Galloway, a member of the firm’s Private Clients & Fiduciary Services Group, advises individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning and estate trust and administration, including counseling clients on tax planning, charitable giving, wealth management and transfer strategies, and the probate administration process. 

Most recently, Galloway was a trusts and estates associate for a Boston-area general practice firm. While in law school, she worked for a boutique Boston trusts and estates firm and the University of Massachusetts Foundation. Prior to law school, she worked as a litigation paralegal for a large, international law firm in Washington, DC.
 
Galloway earned her bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College and her law degree from Boston College Law School. She is an active member of the Junior League of Boston.

Announcements accepted for consideration include individual professional accomplishments (new jobs, promotions, recent accomplishments or awards*, etc.) and personal news (weddings, engagements, birth announcements, and other notable outside-of-work accomplishments). Honor Roll Firm announcements are also encouraged.

*Awards should not include mentions in Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, AV ratings and other list-type awards due to the large number of attorneys who receive them.
