AywardJune6BulletinMBA member Michael Aylward, a partner in the Boston office of Morrison Mahoney LLP, has been elected to serve as the new president of the American College of Coverage Counsel.

The ACCC is an invitation-only, peer-reviewed association of the 300 leading practitioners of insurance coverage and bad-faith law in the United States and Canada. Since its founding in 2012, the college has taken a leading role in improving civility and scholarship and in developing educational programs and resources for law schools, judges and mediators concerning insurance coverage and bad-faith law. 

In addition to his role as partner at Morrison Mahoney, Aylward chairs the firm's complex insurance claims resolution group. He has also served in leadership positions in the principal organizations representing the insurance defense community, including DRI, FDCC, IADC and the Massachusetts Reinsurance Bar Association.

Announcements accepted for consideration include individual professional accomplishments (new jobs, promotions, recent accomplishments or awards*, etc.) and personal news (weddings, engagements, birth announcements, and other notable outside-of-work accomplishments). Honor Roll Firm announcements are also encouraged.

*Awards should not include mentions in Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, AV ratings and other list-type awards due to the large number of attorneys who receive them.
