Applications accepted for CPCS Juvenile Appeals Panel

The Youth Advocacy Division (YAD) of the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) is now accepting applications for the Juvenile Appeals Panel.

To be considered for the panel, private counsel must submit a completed application via email to yadappeals@publiccounsel.net by Oct. 11. All admitted applicants must attend the two-day juvenile appeals training program on Dec. 4 and 5 at the Registry of Deeds, 90 Front St., in Worcester. Applicants are asked not to register for the training until after receiving confirmation that they have been accepted onto the panel.

The application, reference form and a “save the date” notice with additional details are available here.

For further information regarding the appellate panel, or the application and certification process, contact YAD Director of Juvenile Appeals Afton M. Templin at (508) 484-5785 or atemplin@publiccounsel.net, or YAD Appeals Staff Counsel Laura Chrismer Edmonds at (413) 355-5208 or lchrismeredmonds@publiccounsel.net.
