Are you looking for an opportunity to volunteer and assist people who are in need? Are you having a problem finding the time to volunteer because of your busy schedule and other commitments? The Massachusetts Bar Association's Dial-A-Lawyer program, which began in March 1991, may be the best volunteer program for your schedule and interests.
The MBA is looking for Western Mass. attorneys, who are also MBA members, who are available to volunteer for a semiannual MBA Dial-A-Lawyer event in Springfield on Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Western New England University School of Law, 1215 Wilbraham Rd., Springfield.
Lawyer volunteers are needed to field telephone calls between 4 and 7 p.m. (in shifts from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m.) from residents of Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties who have legal concerns or problems.
