The Massachusetts Bar Association's Eco-Challenge Task Force is seeking new members.
The task force, which was previously active from 2007-10, created the MBA's Green Guidelines and Landscaping Guidelines. These resources provided information to firms and solo practitioners that participated in the MBA's Lawyers Eco-Challenge, by pledging to incorporate more earth-friendly practices into their offices.
This spring the task force was reenacted and is focusing on what lawyers can do to help prevent climate change, reduce pesticide use, make offices more environmentally focused to save money, and other important environmental initiatives. The next meeting is Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. Meetings are held by conference call or video conferencing.
Interested in participating? Please email the MBA's Director of Community & Public Services Elizabeth O'Neil.
