The new Audio-Visual Deposition Rule of Civil Procedure went into effect in 2017.
Join the MBA on Tuesday, March 6, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the MBA in Boston, for information on the new rule. Presentations from experienced counsel will look at how the changes allow audio-visual depositions as a matter of right, which makes Massachusetts practice consistent with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and that of other jurisdictions.
The panel will discuss the issues and use of depositions and audio-visual depositions from the beginning of discovery to their use in trial. The panel will highlight:
- The new requirements
- Best practices
- Traps for the unwary
The program will include commentary from the bench on preparation, possible uses and preferences in the use of audio-visual depositions. In addition, the panel will include a videographer who will address practical questions concerning audio-visual depositions.
Join the MBA and co-sponsors the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association and Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys for this timely and important update.
