AngellHAMPDEN COUNTY
James Angell has returned to private law practice in Westfield after several years of teaching. Jim has been a member of the bar since 1979. He is a former prosecutor and assistant city solicitor and has tried over 500 bench and jury trials. He has been active as a title examiner covering the four western Massachusetts counties. Jim will be concentrating his practice in real estate, probate of estates, bankruptcy and District Court criminal defense.

SUFFOLK COUNTY
ScullyJennifer A. Scully has joined Honor Roll Firm Todd & Weld LLP as a litigation associate and will concentrate her practice on complex commercial litigation and employment law matters. Scully, a former assistant attorney general in Massachusetts, has considerable experience in the courtroom, including arguing substantive motions in Massachusetts District, Superior and appellate courts. Prior to becoming an attorney, she worked at a major accounting firm advising multinational companies on tax and business structuring issues. Scully is a 2013 graduate of Suffolk University Law School and a 2005 graduate of Boston College.

The Massachusetts Bar Association accepts MBA member-submitted announcements for publication in the MassBar Bulletin section of Massachusetts Lawyers Journal. Get further connected with fellow MBA members by sharing your noteworthy professional and personal accomplishments. There is no cost to participate.

HOW TO SUBMIT: Send a blurb of 75 words or less to  [e-mail Bulletin]. Please include your name, firm/place of work, and the town and county where you work. Photo submissions are also welcome (hi-res, 300 dpi or larger, photos).

Announcements accepted for consideration include individual professional accomplishments (new jobs, promotions, recent accomplishments or awards*, etc.) and personal news (weddings, engagements, birth announcements, and other notable outside-of-work accomplishments). Honor Roll Firm announcements are also encouraged.

*Awards should not include mentions in Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, AV ratings and other list-type awards due to the large number of attorneys who receive them.
