ABA CLE program in Boston addresses unaccompanied immigrant children, Sept. 8

Thursday, Sep. 1, 2016

MBA members are invited to participate in a CLE program being presented at the ABA Business Law Section Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 8, from 2:30-4:30 p.m., at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.

The program, "Unaccompanied Immigrant Children: Who They Are, Why They Flee, and How You Can Help," will describe how Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) assists unaccompanied children with their immigration cases and how you can get involved. KIND is a national organization that works to ensure that no refugee or immigrant child faces immigration court alone.

The program co-chair, moderator and speaker is Marisa Howe, supervising attorney for KIND-Boston.
