Pursuant to G.L. c. 211D, § 11 (Establishment and Review of Compensation Rates) the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) will be holding hearings in order to solicit input on the current rates of compensation for attorneys who accept appointments to represent indigent persons. All persons who accept these appointments are invited to attend and to provide input on this issue.

The first hearing is scheduled for Thursday, November 20 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the MBA, 20 West Street, Boston.

There will be two additional hearings held in the spring of 2015, one in western Massachusetts and one in the southeastern part of the state. The dates and locations will be announced at a later time.
