This is the first meeting of the Education Law Practice Group for the 2018-2019 association year.

Guest speaker Josh Varon, Esq., from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, will discuss issues about the enrollment of and responsibility for students in foster care. This will likely include topics about the rationale for the updates to the regulations, changes to the request for LEA Assignment form, and issues in general that school districts are experiencing with respect to ESSA implementation.
